Excellent Monitor!
Bought this a couple of weeks ago for our grandchild when she’s in our house. Easy to set up and also really good when used in conjunction with the app. Gives excellent clear coverage, great for peace of mind, would definitely recommend this product.

Great baby monitor
I bought this baby monitor for a friend. The sound is good, the picture quality is excellent. It is very convenient that you can control the camera and rotate it using the buttons on the monitor, not manually. An additional bonus is different sounds for the baby, lighting like a night light, temperature measurement in the room. My friend was satisfied.

Great monitor but...
This monitor is good. Has good signal & works really well. Can work via WiFi or by itself, which I love. You can use a mobile app to view from anywhere too. I purchased 2, but both have different charging wires & slightly different features, even though both are exactly the same model, this is a bit frustrating, I also have 1 from before, exact same model but slightly different features & charger, it also used a different app which is so frustrating, as I have to now have 2 different apps for my 3 cameras of the same model. I've had vtech before, and again it was a different app which they discontinued so I could not use that monitor via my mobile, which defeats the purpose. Wish they would stick to 1 app, they are expensive to buy, & if they keep discontinuing the apps then I can not use that feature which is why I purchased them in the 1st place, so I can view when I'm not at home. Other then that, really reliable monitor.

There are better models available for the price
I bought this a month ago and in all honesty it just doesn’t compare with the babysense monitor it replaced (although that only lasted 12 months!) The picture isn’t clear at night and it’s delayed so hard to see what they are actually getting up to. Save your money and go for something cheaper or try babysense.

I can advise that the baby monitor can be monitored and controlled from the parent unit and app, however to tilt the monitor you'll need to use the wall mounting bracket.

The supplier has advised the following for the VTech RM5766 HD Smart Video Baby Monitor:
“ The RM5766HD can be connected to a Wi-Fi network, then an IOS or Android (some versions not supported) mobile phone installed with the latest VTech Baby app and an account set up.
The app is then paired to the RM5766HD and any phone notifications required enabled on the app.
If motion detect notifications are enabled, then any detected movement by the Baby Unit is captured by the Parent Unit and communicated to our server, which then notifies the app running on the mobile phone. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the VTech RM5766 HD Smart Video Baby Monitor:
You can use more than one camera when using the VTech app, although you need to ensure that the units have the same version.
VTech version 1 app enabled products won’t be compatible with version 2 and vice versa. You will only be able to view the cameras through the correct app, you won’t be able to view the VTech RM5566HD camera via the viewing screen/parent unit of the other RM5766HD smart baby monitor.

"This baby monitor (as are most of our range) are designed to be placed on a flat surface or wall mounted using a bespoke bracket that is supplied with the product". They add that these are not fitted with a ¼ inch tripod mount for this purpose.
