Great Cordless Vacuum
Purchased for my mother as a replacement for her Gtech. This is sturdy, easy to empty, good on carpets as well as hard floors and feels good quality. Unfortunately it's a bit heavy for my mother at 4.1kg. I've deducted a star as the battery doesn't last long when on full power. Probs no longer than 25 minutes.

Bought this as I wanted something a bit more simple to transport around the house and this does the job really well. It was a little heavier than I thought with the big foot on but it’s feature that shows where the carpets are dirtier, it leaves a nice fresh smell afterwards and you can really see how much hair you pick up which is ideal if you have a pet.

Super, lightweight, cordless vacuum cleaner. I wasn't sure if this machine would be up to the job, but it has certainly surpassed my expectations. It is much lighter than my previous Dyson Animal Ball and I feel my house is cleaner without the backache I used to feel after vacuuming the house. A great, high tech gadget that does pick up dog hairs well.

Haven’t had very long but so far works great but, a BIG but the battery goes down quick. Down stair laminate floor I leave on the setting that it detects debris, upstairs on carpet you want on maximum. Battery goes down in front of your eyes. For the money I think you should get 2 battery’s with this. Also I’ve had to order after market wall bracket, I will update my review in a few more weeks

The roller bar cannot be completely turned off on this model. We do not offer any model with a brush roll that can stop spinning entirely while it is in use. However, we do have vacuums with hard-floor settings that slow the brush roll to prevent damage to delicate carpet fabrics.

Why would a Shark expert say theres no difference between the two models, other than colour? Why would they be selling two models in that case, at different price points? That answer is incorrect!
I believe the main difference is that the T model has a motorised pet tool included, hence the higher price point.

There are three methods available for charging the battery of this unit. To charge the battery within the handheld vacuum, connect the charger to a wall outlet and then plug it into the port located under the handle. You may also activate storage mode by pressing the Flexology Wand Unlock Latch and folding the vacuum forward until the wand clicks into a locked position. Afterward, connect the charger to the charging port on the handheld vacuum. Another method involves pressing and holding the Battery Release Button to remove the battery. Once the battery is out, plug the charger into its charging port. To reinstall the battery, slide it back into the slot at the rear of the handheld vacuum until it clicks securely.

Having checked I can see the main differences are that the IZ400UKT has Clean Sense IQ, Flexology wand and a quicker charge time compared to the IZ300UKT.
