Hoover works, feels cheap
The hoover definitely works, the drum has never filled up so quickly. However, in general the hoover feels very cheap and the rollers make a squeaky noise when you use it. This was purchased to replace another shark hoover that gave up the ghost after 3 years but felt much better quality at the time. What is a shame is the battery packs and the accessories have been slightly redesigned so you can't reuse them.

This is our 2nd Shark cordless. So we knew what to expect. Please with how it operates and it picks up dust very well. A little on the heavy side. Our previous one lasted 5yrs and 2 months so unfortunately just outside the warranty. No suprise that none of the parts & accessories from our old Shark fitted our new one.

Best Vacuum Cleaner
I actually have this model already and as this was on offer I got it again as a spare! I love my Shark Stratos so much and have had it for a few years now, I would be gutted if it broke so now I am covered! This vacuum is powerful and so easy to use being cordless. I have 4 cats, a dog and 4 aldults in my home and this does a fantastic job. I will alway purchase Shark in the future.

The roller bar cannot be completely turned off on this model. We do not offer any model with a brush roll that can stop spinning entirely while it is in use. However, we do have vacuums with hard-floor settings that slow the brush roll to prevent damage to delicate carpet fabrics.

Why would a Shark expert say theres no difference between the two models, other than colour? Why would they be selling two models in that case, at different price points? That answer is incorrect!
I believe the main difference is that the T model has a motorised pet tool included, hence the higher price point.

There are three methods available for charging the battery of this unit. To charge the battery within the handheld vacuum, connect the charger to a wall outlet and then plug it into the port located under the handle. You may also activate storage mode by pressing the Flexology Wand Unlock Latch and folding the vacuum forward until the wand clicks into a locked position. Afterward, connect the charger to the charging port on the handheld vacuum. Another method involves pressing and holding the Battery Release Button to remove the battery. Once the battery is out, plug the charger into its charging port. To reinstall the battery, slide it back into the slot at the rear of the handheld vacuum until it clicks securely.

Having checked I can see the main differences are that the IZ400UKT has Clean Sense IQ, Flexology wand and a quicker charge time compared to the IZ300UKT.
