About this product
The Aspire Olivier Ottoman Bed provides a proper double bed with hidden storage that lifts up when needed. Upholstered in soft plush velvet, it features a deep-buttoned, hand-finished headboard for comfort when sitting up reading or watching telly. Solid hardwood feet keep it stable and lift the frame off the floor. Inside is large storage for spare bedding, out-of-season clothes, or anything you want tucked away but easy to reach. The end-lift mechanism opens hands-free and supports mattresses up to 60kg. Sprung wooden slats provide a supportive mattress base.
The velvet fabric is practical and soft against your skin. A fabric dust sheet protects stored items and keeps everything fresh. The headboard fixes securely to the frame, all fixings included. It's 34.5cm from floor to the top of the side rail, a standard height that works with most bedroom setups. There's 3cm space underneath for hoovering. The frame supports a total user weight of 220kg. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, assembly needs two people. Manufactured in the UK with a one-year guarantee.

I've had the bed and few weeks now,very nice and sturdy.the two bits of wood for the mechanism was not needed,overall very nice,good quality.

Lovely, well made, easy to put together bed
I’m a 65 yr old women and put this bed together by myself. Watching the video a few times helped. I did make an error in not realising the side panels have to go on with holes for lifting mechanism at the top end near the headboard. Had to remove and swap sides. They are not marked left and right which would help. The bed is lovely, sturdy and attractive. There is so much storage space underneath. I’m so pleased with it. Bought it with discount in Argos, delivered in a couple of weeks. Came in 3 boxes. Delivery men excellent carried boxes up to bedroom. Mattress bought separately Also think it’s made in the UK so supporting UK business

Great frame, some of the hole during assembly didn’t line up so had to make new ones but did managed to get it to work

Ordered in early November, delivered first week in December. Excellent quality, easy to assemble, does say needs two people but I managed it solo! Really pleased with the finished product & would recommend.

Cheaply made
Bought while on offer luckily, however don’t believe its worth the money you pay! Looks nice however it feels very cheap and always makes noises when any amount of weight goes onto it! Not only that but when it arrived it was missing a fair few parts, when requested these they sent them out however still not all arrived! Wouldn’t recommend

Ottoman bed
I’m very pleased with this it took a few hrs to build on my own but looks fab.It is longer than expected due to bottom of bed being chunky and I have limited space in a caravan but storage is excellent would recommend

Hello Nina. The Aspire Olivier Twill Kingsize Ottoman Bedframe has a fabric dust protection sheet at the bottom and there is a gap of 3cm between this and the floor which prevents items from resting on the floor.
