Disppointing
I bought this as an “upgrade” for my old Ring Doorbell 2 but have been very disappointed. The battery has last no more than a week, despite adjusting all the settings and turning some functions off altogether. It frequently misses people coming up the path to the door and doesn’t differentiate between motion and a person. Whilst the camera view , fish eye lens and parcel detection are much better the negatives really do let it down. Weekly battery changes and missing person detection are not acceptable.

We were looking to get one for awhile,and it doesn’t disappoint it’s brillent,we wouldn’t be with out one,it does take awhile to set up.it cost £80 a year if you want the extras which we got.

Having checked I can see Ring doorbells have an IP rating of IPX5, which means they are water-resistant. This rating indicates that the doorbell can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction but is not suitable for continuous immersion in water.
