Neat phone but bad display
Bought this to replace a landline phone with answermachine. A neat and easy to use phone but has a blue display with poor lighting which makes it really difficult to see letters/numerals. Returned.

not impressed
I recently bought this new cordless phone and as it was a BT product, as my last one was, I thought it would be perfect. Very badly let down, quite difficult to enter new numbers, in fact rather fiddely, and the screen is difficult to see, which is a bad feature,and to use it is not easy either. Not a good buy.

We had to have our son set this up for us. No way could we have managed it; we couldn't even get the backs off to insert the batteries because of arthritic fingers. I have managed to enter some names and numbers finally although not easy to find them later. I cannot set the clock to the correct time; have managed the date though after a struggle. I wanted to use different ring tones for different names but it seems that although you can choose one, they all have to be the same one. The display is very difficult to see. Maybe there are more things I should have done. The instruction slip of paper is not veryinformative. We bought these phones as we wanted one upstairs and one downstairs. We made a mistake getting them. We miss our old handset , the screen was very clear and the phone much easier to use, In hindsight we should have paid more and gone for a better product. We're stuck with it now.

Yes, this phone can be connected to the B4RN network, as long as your B4RN router includes a phone (TEL) port for landline use. If your service includes VoIP, simply plug the phone base into the router’s phone port.
If VoIP is not included, B4RN should provide an adapter for connecting traditional landline phones to their network.
