You get what you pay for...
...and in this instance, a seemingly bargain price (barely double figures at time of purchase) buys you a cocktail shaker that leaks. So as well as your perfectly shaken cocktail pouring its loveliness through the strainer, some of it finds a way to emerge between the two parts of the shaker. Once you know this is going to happen, you can mitigate against it by holding most of the shaker above your glass and not just the strainer. But if your cocktail requires a slim glass, prepare to make a mess. Cheers!

Bought this as a gift. Looks great and is good quality. No Can be a little tricky to open sometimes but at least nothings coming out when shaking those cocktails.

Soak the Habitat Cocktail Shaker in hot water: This is the simplest and usually the quickest way to get the top off of the shaker. If this doesn’t work, soak the shaker in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a bowl of hot water. The temperature change should help it loosen up and do the trick.
