The Philips Series 5000 Body Groomer for men is designed to power through hair, without compromising on skin comfort. Whether on the chest or hard-to-reach areas like the back, you can use the skin friendly shaver or trim by clicking on the 2, 3, or 5mm length combs. The trimmer is designed to be safe and comfortable for underarms, chest, and abs, back, shoulders, legs and intimate areas. The skin friendly shaver catches and cuts hairs of different lengths, without the need for multiple tools or skin contact with sharp edges.
The shaver head features patented rounded tips and a hypo-allergenic foil to protect your skin while shaving. The bi-directional trimmers cut longer hairs, which are shaved by the foil for a closer result. You can use the shaving system without the combs, for a closer result. For thicker hair, pre-trimming with the fixed combs is recommended.
Conveniently remove back hair. This attachment has been specially designed for convenient back grooming. The body groomer is fully water-resistant, so you can simply rinse it clean when you've finished. For longer hair, trimming performance may be better on dry hair.

Easy,quick and no discomfort around the delicates.
It is easy and comfortable to use, with the long reach handle making getting to all of your back simple. It sailed through the mat of hair I had on my chest, back and groin with no problems or discomfort. It only misses 5 stars as the final result isn't baby bottom smooth, though it looks clear. This may just be technique and will improve with practice.

Good shaver, ridiculously bad extension.
So the shaver itself is fine, but the extending arm is rubbish. You are supposed to be able to bend it into positions to hit the hard to reach areas on your back, but as soon as you touch anything with the shaver it just straightens out. Pretty useless. So I pretty much wasted £60 on something I can’t use properly. Don’t think I can return it because it is a shaver 🤷🏻

Replaced the previous model
I had the previous version since 2017 but the battery died so was looking for a replacement. I got it at a great price, much cheaper than Amazon. I used it almost immediately and it's great, I especially like the back handle attachment.

A close shave
Very impressed with this item. Have only used once but straight away knew it was better than my original shaver. Reaches everywhere and with easen Three different guards, which feel secure and safe when using. This was the best price too. Recommend if you have annoying hair or just too much of it. This will certainly help.
