Fails at being a Metroidvania
I got this in the hopes that it would be along the same vein as the classic Castlevania games or maybe even like Hollow Knight. It's a mixture of the worst parts of both. Large areas of the game are just painful traversal exercises that often reward you with currencyto the same value youd receive by just killing an average eneemy. The story is incredibly dull, to the point thag less than 3 hours in I stopped caring about it. The game is set in Persia, yet the cast all have terribly generic English accents thay sound like they are just reading lines off of a page and cashing in. There is no real effort to the acting which makesyou think "if they dint care then why should i?". The game is just a mess.

Enjoyable Game
Haven’t played it much but what I have played I’ve enjoyed. The graphics are good and there seems a basic but decent story. There’s a bit of puzzle solving and things you can go back to once you’ve progressed and developed more abilities. I haven’t played any Prince of Persia games since the SNES version way back when but there similarities to that except the pause of this game is much quicker. Overall I thoroughly recommend this game. As a bonus, because this game has been out for quite a while Argos were selling very cheaply.

Great Metroidvania
One of the best Metroidvania from the last years. If you like classics such as Hollow Knight, Symphony of the Night, the Metroid games... This one is for you. Combat is fun and has great depth. Level design is diversified while not loosing you too much. Fun times from beginning to end. At that price really worth it

Bought this tittle a couple of weeks ago and I'm blown away by the gameplay and graphics. I cannot believe i paid so little for it (£16) and it's still a 2024 tittle. Go out and buy it before it goes back up
