About this product
This compact damp guard helps tackle mould, odours and condensation in your home without taking up much space. It's designed to absorb excess moisture quickly using Minky tablet technology, so you can pop it in bathrooms, bedrooms, garages or any room that gets a bit damp. The sleek design blends in nicely, and it works away quietly without needing any power. Each 200g tablet lasts around three months depending on how humid the room is, and you get four refills included.
There's an adjustable air vent that helps control the absorption rate, and a built-in spout makes emptying simple when it's time to pour the collected water down the drain. It's completely silent and works on its own, so you don't need to plug anything in or change batteries. The unit measures 13cm high and 12.8cm wide, so it fits neatly on windowsills, in cupboards or under sinks. Working well and absorbing moisture
The damp guard is working well. I placed it on the inside of my bedroom window where there was a small amount of dark mould in the corner of the windowsill. It started collecting moisture straight away. The tablets are larger than expected and one should last over the winter. Hopefully when I replace the sealant it will stay white in future.

Great for my bedroom with an en suite attached
This is a really great item, a reassurance that the bedroom is not getting damp as I have an en suite attached. Lasts a long time and the refill tablets can be purchased online from Minky direct too as sadly Argos do not currently do the refills. For the price this is a great idea and no noise that you get from an electric dehumidifier too

The pour option sets Minky Damp Guard apart
I bought this for one of my kitchen cupboards which always seems to smell musty. I've tried other products, but this one definitely has the advantage as you can pour away the liquid without having to remove the block. And most importantly the smell has disappeared, so all round a success.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Minky Damp Guards with 4 Refill Tablets:
The damp guard works in any size room, the length of time the tablet lasts depends on humidity levels. For example, in a small utility room where there may be lots of humidity, the tablet won’t last as long as in a large living room that is 4 x 5m.
