About this product
Scrabble is the classic board game that always spells F-U-N! Consisting of interlocking words, crossword fashion, onto a playing board, Scrabble game challenges players to spell out words using letter tiles with various score values.
The object of the game is to get the highest score, and scores are given for letter values and boosted by premium squares on the grid. Words can read either across or down, and your word must use a letter tile already in play on the board.
Each player competes by using their tiles in combinations and locations that take the best advantage of letter values and premium squares on the board.
Scrabble game is not only fun but will improve your vocabulary as each time you play you are introduced to new and exciting words!

Excellent value for money and good quality
I can't believe how good this is. I expected a very cheap version of the original but must admit my wife and I are delighted with it. The quality is great for a really good price and we'd both highly recommend it.

Bought for my grandson who’s 12 years! Been used a lot over Christmas etc nice and up to date colours not like it used to look. Well pleased especially for the price we will use for years.

No the board is not covered in hard plastic with individual moulded slots for letters. The letters just have be placed carefully on the board.
