Stylish toaster with average results
Having used this toaster over a couple of weeks I can say it toasts fairly quickly and evenly. It is stylish and appears better quality than my pervious morphy richards toasters, which was expected given the price premium of this Dualit Studio over my previous toaster. The setting dial has a nice 'click' all across the temp range and the toast pops up nicely. On the downside, I have to set the dial of 2 (out of 9) for the first batch to prevent burning, then turn it down to 1 for the next batch otherwise it's overdone. I would have thought for the same bread you would set the dial and be able to leave it for the toaster to produce the same result for all subsequent batches, this is not the case. I cannot envisage anyone needing to use the higher settings as they would definitely burn the contents to a cinder!

My favourite ever toaster
Easy to use, robust and stylish. Toasts quickly and evenly every time, with the correct internal texture/consistency. The Preheat function is excellent not only for defrosting bread, but for toasting straight from the freezer. Allows for the toasting of thick slices, with the controls and slider ergonomically placed for easy use. Recommended wholeheartedly.

Nice toaster
Bought this 2 slice toaster along with the matching kettle very happy with both items . In regard to the toaster we use it on setting 3 which gives a nice tan to the toast not burnt . Nice design does the job we want it to do

Sleek efficient toaster
I bought the toaster a few months ago and have been really pleased with its performance. Good range on the browning selector and a crumb tray that actually doesn't drop crumbs everywhere. It works well!

Quite disappointing
I bought this expecting a quality product as I've had a Dualit kettle for years with no problem. The toast is underdone on the outer side. This applies to both sides of the unit. Dualit customer service were not the most helpful. I try to buy British even though more expensive but I do expect a product that works as it should!
