Best buy ever
I bought this item a few months ago and it’s the best thing ever. I don’t need to go anywhere to blow my tyre up I just blow it up wherever I am

Essential kit
A neat bit of kit, good display quick and easy to use
maggiep, 65 or over, lancashire
Couldn't get it to work at all.
It shows the correct pressure, and seems to pump, but the pressure doesn't increase. I asked Argos for help via website and chat bot, but they just said take it back. A waste of time.

Not a good product
This tyre inflator uses a screw on type adapter to fit to the valve in the tyre, the screw thread on it was poor resulting in it being difficult to fit and remove. On one tyre it would not fit correctly at all which resulted in me getting a flat tyre and then borrowing my neighbours pump. Avoid this product, returned to the shop with full refund m.

Absolute Rubbish
This did a great job of letting my tyres down. The screw on connector would not seal and just deflated the tyre.
Me, 55 - 64, Lancashire
Extreme tyre inflator
Bought this to replace old unit ok so far
Bob 53, 55 - 64, Cumbria
Works fine
Pumps up tyres. I assume to the right pressure. Easy to use.

Hello There.
After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Challenge Xtreme Digital Tyre Inflator with Auto Cut Off:
The barometer has a maximum range of 100 psi, and the air pump can reach an actual maximum pressure of 150 psi, but in general we do not recommend to reach this limitation.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Nick,
From the information we have available, I can advise the Challenge Xtreme Digital Tyre Inflator with Auto Cut Off does not automatically deflate if you add too much air. However, it does have an auto cut-off feature that stops inflating once the pre-set pressure is reached, preventing over-inflation. If you do over-inflate, you can manually deflate the tyre using the deflate button

I have owned a couple of these inflators over the years. They are not exactly quiet but they do the job remarkably well.
One of mine has given up the ghost after many uses over the years, especially in my driving school and is due for renewal and I will stick with this model as they very reliable.
They are used regularly to check and maintain the tyres at the correct pressures and it makes the job easy.
