The digital display shows exact pressure, and the auto-stop cuts out once you reach your target. Pre-set modes mean no fiddling with settings roadside. Noisy but serves purpose!
I've used this once since I bought it. It is noisy when it's running and easily scratched if you put it on tarmac or other rough surface but I found it very easy to use and it worked very satisfactorily. Other than the noise, its other drawback is that It's impossible to put the plug-in power cable back into the bottom of the unit and replace the cover so don't dispose of the box!

Very good purchase
Delighted. This was heavily discounted but worth full price. Works well and has already proven to be a good purchase as I recently had a puncture. It enabled me to inflate the tyre so I could get to the garage.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Challenge Xtreme Digital Tyre Inflator with Auto Cut Off:
The barometer has a maximum range of 100 psi, and the air pump can reach an actual maximum pressure of 150 psi, but in general we do not recommend to reach this limitation.

From the information we have available, I can advise the Challenge Xtreme Digital Tyre Inflator with Auto Cut Off does not automatically deflate if you add too much air. However, it does have an auto cut-off feature that stops inflating once the pre-set pressure is reached, preventing over-inflation. If you do over-inflate, you can manually deflate the tyre using the deflate button

I have owned a couple of these inflators over the years. They are not exactly quiet but they do the job remarkably well.
One of mine has given up the ghost after many uses over the years, especially in my driving school and is due for renewal and I will stick with this model as they very reliable.
They are used regularly to check and maintain the tyres at the correct pressures and it makes the job easy.
