The set includes three pretend CDs with 21 popular nursery rhymes on. It also plays three musical instrument sound effects with a music box, violin and piano and has a carry handle for easy transportation.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know rechargeable batteries could be used, but you must use the same type of rechargeable battery and not to mix rechargeable battery with other type of battery eg alkaline.
