Does the job !!
The clock does the job intended but the fingers configuration is odd and confusing.Surely the two white fingers should be hours and minutes and the single red finger for the alarm setting ?

Confusing clock hands
The hour and alarm hands are black but the minute hand is red, which makes it easy to misread the time.

Lovely little clock
Lovely neat little clock, keeps good accuracy, illuminates well when needed, ergonomically friendly, easy visibility & good resonance.

Quite tick well made but confusing!
Very quiet tick, I can only hear it when held up to my ear. Confusing because there is no second hand but a hand for the alarm. Not only that but the hour and minute hands are a different colour. I got the blue one as it's not as confusing as the white one with the red minute hand. I gave that one away to a charity shop only because I replaced it with the new one which is at £4.80 super cheap (half the new price).

Maybe I'll get used to it.
It's a neat little clock, quiet enough for a bedside table. My only frustration with it is that the hour hand is black, the alarm set hand is black, but the minute hand is red. I focus on the black hands every time and misread the time.

Useful
It is quite accurate but illumination is poor

Not quite right for me
I really liked the colour and design on this clock, I thought it was really clear to see the time unlike a lot that are smaller and less clear. However I've unfortunately had to take it back as the alarm hand is quite big and dark and so every time I looked at the clock I was not sure what the time was and what I need it for I need to instantly look at the clock and have that clarity so I just took it back. They really should have done the alarm hand in a different colour or a smaller size or something.. Shame as it's lovely but not for my purpose.

Answered first question would like to add button on back of clock when pressed lights up face of clock
Silent tick alarm is good starts off gently then gets louder and ends in a continuous ring quite good gently wakens you up rather than an abrupt alarm if you want to hear the ticking of the clock you have to be 18 inches near as I have perfect hearing hope this helps
Hi Matt.
Habitat Analogue Alarm Clock - Black & White does not have a moving 2nd hand and the reviews suggest `very quiet tick, almost inaudible!`.
