Customers Say
Bath panel comes in multiple pieces, making fitting tricky. Quality and waterproofing are major concerns, with many reporting swelling, cracking, and weak fixings. Some find it looks good once installed but requires DIY skills.

Terrible design
I handed it back once I realised it was in 3 parts, I’ve never seen anything like it, terrible design

Unfit for purpose
This panel is unfortunately very poor, and unfit for purpose. At first sight it looks fine, but its in three sections and the fixings are very weak, and unsuitable for the material its made from (mdf). After fitting it has shown it is not waterproof, as small amounts of water have found their way underneath the surface and caused it to bubble. t

Bath panel
I bought this for my son and he found it a bit fiddly to put together, however he didn’t have any experience in doing this sort of thing. He managed to put it together and managed to shorten it to fit and it looks so much better than the plastic panel that was there before.

Rubbish, don't buy.
Came with bolts to fix together but unfortunately no pre-drilled holes so it's absolutely useless.

Great for our needs
We had a refit of the bathroom, the old bath left the walls badly in need of TLC. These panels were bust the solution, easy to fit and looked good, well pleased

Disgraceful Quality
We paid to have this professionally installed by a carpenter however the bottom edges of the bath panel blew within two days of being installed. This edge was not bare MDF and had not been cut, so the gloss coating must not be attached or sealed correctly. A terrible quality product which clearly has manufacturing faults as it is not water resistant in the slightest. We contacted customer services however they were extremely unhelpful and not the least bit interested in solving the issue. Avoid this product.

Average product
Bought this to replace a broken plastic bath panel. It is cheaply made and the finish isn’t the best but it does the job and I will probably have to give it a lick of paint to make it actually look new!

Poor design
Needed a reasonably priced bath panel. Both the panel & plinth come as 3 pieces each. They are connected using a screw-in bar & 3/4 rotating barrel, similar to IKEA self assembly method. However the MDF is not strong enough to hold the screws firmly. Do you either strip the thread or don’t tighten them enough! Consequently, the panel pulls apart when you move it. Unfortunately, I found this out after I painted mine, so couldn’t return it to Argos. It’s there for now & looks reasonable, but I’ve leaned my lesson! If you can afford a more expensive, one-piece bath panel, go for it!

Hello Wendy,
I can advise the following for the PJH Tongue and Groove Bath Panel - White:
This is still MDF and will get damaged if water is on it constantly.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi MrJ.
PJH Tongue and Groove Bath Panel - White comes in 3 panels that are fitted together using metal dowels. 2 bath panels would not be suitable to be joined together due to the fixings.
