Great addition to the ring ecosystem
So we decided to buy this camera After Ring announced the change to there plans to include 24/7 recording in early Nov24. So this being a compatible 24/7 camera we wanted constant security of the drive and cars, so far unable to test this feature as not released yet. But the camera integrated well into our existing ring ecosystem and works well as expected looking forward to the 24/7 features!

I bought the ring camera for my garden. So far it seems good. Picture quality is ok. Loses connection sometimes but that is probably due to signal strength

Very good detection.
Compared to the cheaper stickup cam, this one has a wider field of view, nice and crispier sounds and audio, but most importantly, it can detect a person on the grounds at night far more easily at a further distance than the other version. The night light is very slightly dimmer, but it is compensated by the image been far clearer and crisper. The only hitches is it would be nice to have a micro sd card recording option and the instructions needs to be clearer on how to move the base bracket to the back for wall mounting. The cheaper one was far easier to do.

Great addition to my existing RING doorbell.
Relatively easy to set up & alll fixings supplied. Unsure of battery life as still too early but the HD picture day and night ( infra red flood) is optically great. Also speech & hearing facility a boon. A siren facility as yet untested is also available.

The Ring Stick Up Cam Pro Battery Security Camera - Black is fixed by drilling four holes into the surface and using the screws and rawl plugs provided. It may be possible to fix to a tree as it is wire-free, however, this may depend on the age and smoothness of the tree surface.
