After years of using a mop and bucket and finding it a pain in the **** I bought this Bissell and I wish I had got it years ago. It makes cleaning the floors a doddle,it's light,easy to move and leaves the floor looking great and it's quite small and easy to store.It's quiet too,even the cat isn't bothered. Best thing I've bought for ages.

I purchased this in July 2025. I can say it has not let me down. It cleans the laminate floor with ease leaving it with a fresh smell and no streaking. It also self cleans so no putting everything in the sink to clean.

Therefore, technically it might work. However, older floorboards may be finished with less water resistant materials that differ to the current, more suitable, types of finishes. They may be more uneven/weathered/worn and may have various textures due to age, so we cannot give exact confirmation. On balance, we cannot confirm it'd be suitable in this case without inspection of the floors you'd intend to use it on.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bissell CrossWave HF3 Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Cleaner: ''Unfortunately the HF3 does not vacuum flush to the side boards. The Omni Force Edge would be the model that can clean up to the wall.''

“ This doesnt vac only. It is a wet floor cleaner so the brush rollers will always spin. It all goes into a dirty water tank. ”
