I hear every thing
Great for babies I know but we got this for our Lurcher who does not do stairs so sleeps down in the kitchen, so we can hear him if he cry's or needs us, would recommend if you have a puppy to

This has exceptional reach, considering our bedroom is quite far from the child's room on a different floor, with numerous doors and walls in the way. It's got a really good receiver and we can hear every noise. Worth the price

Unreliable device
The Baby monitor was purchased to keep an ear on our young puppy, sleeping in a distant room in her crate. The device operated erratically, didn't always link up, so we returned it to Argos and bought the slightly dearer Motorola system, which has proved more reliable, and gives the option of battery or DC power supply at the listening end.
