Amazing for holidays!
We brought this as our little boy had outgrown the car seat that came with our original travel stroller. The Nomad is really easy to use and quick to set up in any car we have used. It’s straightforward to put away and the cover being attached means it’s packed up in minutes. It’s lightweight so can be carried, but is also compact enough to fit under our stroller and also in overheard storage if taking on a plane. I’ll admit we have only really used on short trip (max 45mins) and that we were at first apprehensive about using a forward facing car seat as our boy is still under 2, but the Nomad has been a really great buy for us!

Not so easy
The product is light and easy to carry indeed. Not so easy to install though - it takes some fiddling and when you have to change cars during travelling it’s quite annoying. Child’s safety while travelling is debatable but still better than no car seat probably.

no recline a problem
The fact this seat does not recline is a problem for me as my 2 year old tends to fall asleep very quickly in a moving car and because you cannot recline the chair her head flops forward which i do not like at all

Great car seat for travelling
Compact and lightweight, it works perfectly well if your car seat belts are sturdy. My son is 2.3 years old, rather a big one, and he is seated quite comfortably in it.

Disappointed
Does not feel very secure even when I pull the seatbelt as tightly as I can. Portable and light but doesn’t feel safe.

Great Car Seat - Traveling
Fantastic lightweight car seat. Used for traveling abroad, easy to fit in all taxis we went in and provided us with the reassurance our daughter was as safe as possible.

Great for holidays
The car seat is lightweight and attaches in with the seatbelt easily. Due ti the light weight design for travel it can only be used forward facing but it’s perfect for holidays and occasional use.

“ We can confirm that although the Nomad Plus is not TUV approved for use within the aircraft itself, dependent on your flight this may be taken as a carry-on item for storage in the overhead lockers.
The product dimensions when folded in the carry bag are below, so you can check with your airline before travel.

The folded dimensions of this are (height) 505mm, (width) 375mm, and (depth) 215mm. They also advise of this:
"The Maxi-Cosi Nomad Plus fits most of the airline carry-on luggage dimensions. But as the allowed dimensions vary per airline, we invite you to check if the Nomad fits the carry-on luggage dimensions of your airline prior to your flight."
