Don't ignore the reviews about the chuck
For the price, this is good. However, do think about what you need it for - if it's bits and pieces around the house then fine, but if you've got a bigger product, you might want to pay a little more. Generally the design is good and it is easy to use, but the chuck does come loose very easily which could easily drive you mad with repeated usage!

A great drill at a bargain price.
I battery operated drills 90%of the time but I needed something faster to do a small one off job using HSS drill bits.I didn't want to pay a lot for a one off,so I went on google to find reliable variable Speed cheap drills. The Guild PD1800G2 came highly recommended,an RRP of £30 and reduced to £18 was a no brainer,I also took out the extra warranty, where it would be fixed or replaced for £2.49,absolute bargain. The drill tackled my job with ease, and puts my faith back into 240v drills.
