A great drill at a bargain price.
I battery operated drills 90%of the time but I needed something faster to do a small one off job using HSS drill bits.I didn't want to pay a lot for a one off,so I went on google to find reliable variable Speed cheap drills. The Guild PD1800G2 came highly recommended,an RRP of £30 and reduced to £18 was a no brainer,I also took out the extra warranty,where it would be fixed or replaced for £2.49,absolute bargain. The drill tackled my job with ease,and puts my faith back into 240v drills.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Guild PDI800G2 Corded Impact Drill - 800W: Although it doesn't have a selectable screwdriver mode, the drill can be used as a screwdriver, you will require a standard screwdriver bit holder that fits into the chuck.
