Fantastic vacuum
Bought this vacuum a month ago after my well known brand packed in. I am more than satisfied with the Dyson, the battery has good length and the maneuverabity is great , it’s very light and glides over my carpet and picks up everything first time so easy to use. Don’t know why I waited so long to get one

Great purchase decision
We live in a large townhouse (3 floors) had my previous Dyson vacuum for about 10 years and still going strong, and managed to get mist of the hoise vacuumed on one charge, however decided to by a new Dyson to keep on ground floor to make it easier. My new V8 is a lot quieter than my previous one, and I am impressed with the suction and all the tools that came with it and how easier it is to empty. Another plus side is I can vacuum full house on one charge, great purchase decision.

Great so far
I bought this product just before Christmas to replace a standard corded vacuum cleaner and so far so good. We bought a freestanding docking stand for it that accommodates all the attachments so we haven't needed to drill into a wall. The maneuverability is excellent as well the ability to change the attachments around to suit the task at hand - a gamechanger when it comes to doing the stairs! The performance of it so far has been great with a good battery life that is more than capable in our small house.

I can advise that the filter will need to be rinsed in cold water and left to dry at least once a month, to ensure you get the best performance out of your vacuum cleaner. More regular cleaning may be required if it is used very frequently.

Ive put my docking station under my stairs but I havent any power point nearby so charge it before putting Dyson sway.

Gee from Argos.. I believe this comes with a charging cable which you can feed through the docking station to hang on the wall therefore it can be charged using just the wire and without the docking station.

The battery does need to be charged using the docking station however, the docking station still works if it is plugged in but not fixed to the wall.
