Happy with V8
I live in a townhouse so keep one vacuum at the top of the house and one downstairs. Previously I had a v8 upstairs and a v10 downstairs. I have always been happier with the v8 and when the v10 broke recently I decided to buy a further v8 as a replacement. So far I have been very happy with the new v8.

Not as powerful as I expected
This is the first cordless vacuum I’ve ever used. As I have already been using Dyson vacuum cleaners for almost 30 years. I’m familiar with the powerful suction. But due a back injury cannot lift and move about the corded heavier machine. So decided to buy this Dyson cordless. I’m happy with the weight and manoeuvrability. But the suction isn’t what I was expecting. It’s nothing as strong as the corded.

Excellent Cordless Vacuum – Highly Recommend!
I’ve been really happy with the Dyson V8 Cordless so far, I bought it last month. It’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, and has plenty of suction for everyday cleaning. It works well on both carpets and hard floors, and the battery life has been more than enough for my needs. I also like how quick and convenient it is to grab for a fast clean. A big bonus is that it comes with quite a few attachments, which makes it really versatile for different cleaning jobs around the house. At the moment, I genuinely can’t find any downsides. It’s been a great purchase, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The battery needs charging before you can turn it on, having it plugged in and being used at the same time will damage the battery.

I can advise that the filter will need to be rinsed in cold water and left to dry at least once a month, to ensure you get the best performance out of your vacuum cleaner. More regular cleaning may be required if it is used very frequently.

Ive put my docking station under my stairs but I havent any power point nearby so charge it before putting Dyson sway.
