Christmas present from Son. So easy to use, light weight, no cables to restrict use and so many different heads for car, stairs, ceiling, upholstery. Son was right, I did need a Dyson!

My first cordless vacuum,and I am delighted with everything it does. I have always had a corded machine,and now I keep looking around for the flex and have to get used to it not being there. The V8 is so lightweight,I was able to vacuum the whole house using only one hand. Unbelievable.I wish I'd got one years ago. Can't praise it enough.

Purchased a few weeks ago and pleased so far, does everything it's promised although emptying the bin mechanism not as good as my original Dyson 01

Upgrade from V6 to V8
I had a Dyson V6 previously which had been good. I bought the V8 as an upgrade and have been very pleased with it. The additional tools were impressive… I was happy with the basic tools on the V6, but I have put these extra tools to good use already. Early days yet, but only negative being the limited run time if you have the machine on Max, but run time is adequate if not on Max!

Not entirely happy
The suction and power of this portable cleaner is not as expected. It also starts pulsing after a short period of use and it needs emptying filters cleaned before working again.

It’s good picks up well , don’t notice a lot of difference my old one v6 so a little bit disappointed to be truthful Battery lasts well Attachments are handy !

Great Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
Really easy to use and convenient. Plenty of appliances for different cleaning. Only negative is there is no replacement filter (which I had on a previous cleaner) so you can still use the cleaner when filter is being cleaned.

I can advise that the filter will need to be rinsed in cold water and left to dry at least once a month, to ensure you get the best performance out of your vacuum cleaner. More regular cleaning may be required if it is used very frequently.

Ive put my docking station under my stairs but I havent any power point nearby so charge it before putting Dyson sway.

Gee from Argos.. I believe this comes with a charging cable which you can feed through the docking station to hang on the wall therefore it can be charged using just the wire and without the docking station.

The battery does need to be charged using the docking station however, the docking station still works if it is plugged in but not fixed to the wall.
