Airtight is waterproof...
As 1st answer explained, these bags are NOT designed for camping. They are for HOME STORAGE, where as being transported and used on a camping trip, the slightest nick would break the vacuum, making the bag unusable as a vacuum bag again. And you will NOT have a vacuum cleaner when camping, which is needed to suck all the air out when you come to re-pack everything. So, these are NOT appropriate for camping, or using outside of their intended home storage purpose. Hope this helps.

NO, as an air bed pump is not only NOT powerful enough, it blows air in, and you need a vacuum cleaner to suck air out of the vacuum storage bags! So you MUST use a vaccum cleaner. Hope this helps.

“ When you sealed the bag, please leave a small gap, then press the bag, let the air out, finally sealed the bag quickly. But this way won't make the bag smaller than regular bag.
If you need to make them smaller, we suggest using the vacuum cleaner or vacuum Pump for vacuum bags. ”
