This will depend on the fitting you have. It's an easy fit shade and includes a reducing ring. The maximum bulb wattage would need to be 60 watts (it can of course be a lower wattage).

This lamp shade can be used for E14, E27, B22 bulbs so if your standard lamp uses one of these it will be possible to use this shade.
