Exceptional power and build quality. A bit heavier than V6 but expected given the bigger motor and bin. I say the weight is not as visible since it adds to the sliding of the vaccum but I can see how it may be a deterrent to older citizens.

The device is good regarding runtime and suction disappointed that when I fitted the device that holds attachments onto the stick it scratched the paint off also surprised at the weight difference find it quite heavy other than that ok

Dyson V11 Advanced Vacuum Cleaner
So far, the Dyson V11 has proved to have great suction on floor surfaces in the home and it makes the job of getting moulted dog fur up so much easier and quicker. It’s a manageable weight, so even for me, a 66 year old arthritic, I can get it up 2 flights of stairs with ease, relative to a corded vacuum cleaner. Battery charging is good. I have a 4 bedroom house with a loft conversion, so 3 floors. I can get the whole house done twice on Eco before having to recharge. I’m also very happy with the Dyson app that helps you with all aspects of usage and maintenance. I must say, though, that there will still be times when I will have to pull out the corded vacuum cleaner. There are nooks and crannies in a house, eg. under radiator covers, where dog hair collects, and you can’t get the cordless under there. I haven’t yet tried the hand held section in the house but I suspect the cylinder may prevent access to some areas. I did try the hand held in the car… it was OK but a flex hose holding the attachment accesses all those places you can’t get to with the main unit and, in my opinion, is therefore more effective. I wasn’t overly keen on the On/Off button as you have to keep your finger on it throughout use, rather than have it switch on and switch off. I’m getting used to it but it may prove more challenging as my arthritis worsens. Finally, I’m not happy about the fact that if you inadvertently knock into a piece of furniture with the V11, the purple paint comes off the main pole! I now have two white patches on the front… I would have expected a better quality finish from conclude, the V11 Advanced has it’s place in my home for regular vacuuming but needs to advance further before I ditch the corded machine.

First cordless hoover ever
First cordless vacuum ever purchased Is so easy to use and I can clean my house a lot faster and efficiently. Enven though my old DC28C still works and is 14 years old the V11 has pulled more dirt than the other one, at first when I tested it in my bedroom carpets I felt disgusted of the amount of dust and fluff pulled from it in the canister. Battery life is OK Although impressive for the size and power. I wanted to get the V16 piston at first but the V11 seemed more affordable and in fact I don’t regret the purchase!

Great but heavy
I had a smaller Dyson years ago but it eventually “died”. I decided to upgrade to the Dyson V11 and while it is really powerful, at 78 yrs of age (me that is) I find it just a bit on the heavy side - good excuse for hubby to do it instead!

Great to just take it off the wall and use.
Been working fine so far. Very handy to take out, hoover, empty and it's away again. Still use the main hoover now and again. But the new dyson stick hoover gets used so much more. Only issue was the rawl plugs for attaching the wall mount. Both snapped 1st time putting in the screw..
