This particular watch has been available through Argos for a long time, this is my second purchase of this watch of the same make and brand, the first lasted over 10 years with constant use so I can highly recommend it.

This is my second Lorus watch. I had my previous one for 10 years, decided this time to renew instead of a battery change. At these low prices it makes sense. I like the plain simple display of time and day/date. For me, the Lumibrite glowing face has been perfect for low light conditions working shifts outdoors. They have a similar appearance to military watches and are very waterproof.

This is a good watch for the price and seems pretty accurate. The calendar feature is a bit fiddly to set but is fine once done. A little fraying on the end of the watch strap after just a few weeks but don't think that'll be a problem. Overall a decent buy.

I have measured the one I bought. The diameter of the round part of the case is 37mm. If you include the winder it is 39.5mm. The diameter stated in the product description is wrong. So why dont Argos correct it?

No, the existing strap is COMPLETELY irreplaceable - unique, original and priceless - though it IS true, you CAN put an alternative strap onto the watch, you will never TRULY replace the one provided with the watch as new
