Haven't had a lot of luck with this! I can see that sewing two thin flat pieces of material it would work, but trying to get it in the right position to repair a difficult area I've found tricky.... Maybe I need to practice with it a bit more

It works , it does it job , admit not the best sewing machine in the world , but for us it did the job ,it stitches , do not expect to make a 3 piece suit , but a hem or rip , yes it works well
