Irritating Missing Feature
Disappointed. I only purchased this TV (actually I bought two 28" & 43"), for its 'Bluetooth' connectivity as I'm very hard of hearing and use headphones. Nothing has a headphone jack these days sadly. The picture quality & sound are very good and the Bluetooth works well. However it seems that LG no longer supports the BBC digital text service, which I rely on for up to date travel info, weather, and current news. If I had known this at the time of purchase I would have bought a different brand.

After looking into this, I can confirm that the TV can be connected to a satellite source. As long as the TV is tuned using the satellite option and you are in an area where the Freesat signal is available, you will be able to watch Freesat channels.

No, you cannot. It features USB recording and video playback so you could pause those recordings but not live TV.
It's compatible with the following smart apps: Now TV, Disney+, Netflix, BBC iPlayer, iTVX, My5, All 4, Amazon Prime, YouTube. If those have the option to pause live TV, then you might be able to do so through the apps but it cannot be done via the TV itself.
