To record a program while watching it, press the Q.Menu button on the Magic Remote to display the Screen Remote, select the Progress Bar, and then press the REC button to begin recording. You can also record programs from external inputs, analog TV, or digital TV. However, be aware that certain content, such as copyright-protected programs, cannot be recorded.
