Easy setup and performance.
A very good connection to all internet channels and easy to setup. Much faster performance than the Humax model that I had bought in 2013 which now more often than not would it connect to Demand channels.

No all features from past.
I bought this a couple of months ago to replace our old freesat box. Unfortunately it doesn't contain all of the features of the old box. Still it works all right.

Hello Tina,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Freesat 4K TV Box: The Freesat 4K box can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi, which allows you to access on-demand and streaming services.
However, to watch live Freesat TV channels, you will still need a satellite dish connection.
This means:
Satellite dish connected: Access to all live Freesat TV channels.
Internet: Access to apps, on-demand content, and streaming services.

Hi David,
Thanks for your query about the Freesat 4K TV Box.
A Freesat box is a type of satellite TV receiver. You'd plug it into your TV at one end and the receiving dish at the other. (It’s a bit like the satellite version of a Freeview box that you'd connect to an aerial instead). You’d need to purchase a box and have a satellite dish installed to be able to receive the signal.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Paul,
I can advise the following for the Freesat 4K TV Box:
Providing you have an HDMI connection you can use this Freesat box with a WiFi TV.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi Phill,
For the Freesat 4K TV Box:
This needs a satellite not an aerial.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Debs,
Looking into the Freesat 4K TV Box, this will not work as this isn't the recording variant of the box.
Thank you for using Q&A.
