With powerful high pressure 7 bar steam and a constant 200g of steam, it makes quick work of stubborn creases, while the 360g steam shot tackles even the toughest fabrics with ease.
The 1.8 L detachable water tank allows longer ironing without frequent refills and can be topped up without stopping. The ceramic soleplate glides across fabrics, while vertical steam freshens hanging clothes and curtains. Includes auto shut-off, anti-drip, and a 3-year guarantee upon registration.

After a while it starts to spit dirty water out all over whatever you’re trying to iron, very annoying. There doesn’t seem to be a way to get it to clean itself out either.

I've always had a steam generated Iron I find them easy to use easy to clean and to descale I've found nothing I don't like about this particular Iron makes Ironing a breeze

Yes, the Russell Hobbs Quiet Super Steam Generator Iron 24450 has a temperature control; there are 3 settings - cool, warm and hot which you can select depending on the fabric i.e. nylon, wool, cotton.

Yes it does and they are practically unavailable. I cant get one anywhere, contacted Russell Hobbs direct and told they are out of stock until September, its now only April and the iron cannot be used without it! Useless!!!

Yes, the Russell Hobbs Quiet Super Steam Generator 24450 does need anti-scale cartridge.The life of the anti-scale cartridge depends on the frequency of use and the hardness of the water in your area. In a soft water area this should be about 100 uses.

The supplier has advised of the following for the Russell Hobbs Quiet Super Steam Generator 24450.
The anti-scale cartridges must be fitted and then replaced as advised in the user manual. It cannot be used without them. For more info on this, please check out this link here:
