Great little speaker. Really easy to set up with great sound. It's a pretty old model but seems to have been updated with USB-C connector. Good price too! Made my own bracket for outside wall.

I bought this to replace and old flip that after many years developed a fault. The sound for is really good, with lots more bass and top. Would recommend and can't see paying any more than this for a portable speaker.

If you're interested in stereo sound from portable speakers, we recommend exploring our models with PartyBoost or Auracast, such as the JBL Flip 6, Flip 7, Charge 5, or Charge 6. For stereo mode, you'll need two speakers of the same model.
Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip Essential 2 has a Type-C charging port. You'll need a USB Type-C cable and a charger adapter that provides 5 volts and at least 2 amps. You can find these online or at your local electronics store.

Via bluetooth yes, however this will be for sound output only and you wouldn't be able to use it in routines etc. It isn't a smart device.
