Good but like my old Rocket best
Felt I must review this. Bought this 2024 after moving into new house and my Shark cordless failed. Roll forward to 2025 and great we have carpets…. Really struggled to push or pull. Found my instruction booklet and lo and behold function I didn’t know was there. Suction Control Slider. Life saver. However bought Shark Rocket HV380UK in 2017. Now that is a vacuum. The best ever . Still use it daily easy to push take tools off and slides under bed. So love it. Keep that one upstairs . Hope it lasts for a few more years. Plenty of sites do spares so here’s hoping

Versatile - a great buy.
Love this machine. Initially I considered it to be heavy although it's description was light. When I separated the top from the roller it is much better but would prefer not to carry it whilst cleaning. It tips if I place it down to use. The hair antiwrap roller is a great feature and it has a great suction. It's a tall machine but not a problem to store if you separate the top from the roller base.

A good vacuum
This was to replace another shark vacuum that gave up on us so I knew the brand. As far as this one compares to.the old.one we had , it's lightweight and easier to move about. The features are fairly similar but this one is definitely better than the other heavy model we had. The suction is great and the maneuverability is good, it's easy to get under furniture and around things. Id recommend this vacuum with confidence.

Great suction, love liftaway, and hose release mske it a great tool, however I’m finding it hard work as an upright to steer. As you take corners it’s hard work …so many great features, but this aspect disappoints. My old Dyson didn’t have done if the other great features but it was easy to steer…

Not like they used to be
Bought this to replace my old shark and I carnt believe how much the quality has changed. It is now cheap plastic. Even the attachments are more flimsy. Still good suction tho. The cords are very annoying on sharks and end up twisted.

I bought this model a few days ago and according to the instruction booklet, Shark guarantee the product for 5 years if you REGISTER the vacuum cleaner with them. There is NO CHARGE for this service. See page 2 and page 17 of the instruction booklet. However, as with all electrical purchases, the shop that you purchased it from i.e. Argos is normally responsible for any major fault that occurs within the first year. Hope this helps.

"The 5-year warranty for the Shark NZ690UK vacuum cleaner typically covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues that may arise with normal household use. Here’s what the warranty generally includes:
