What’s not to like?!
So happy with this kettle! The lid comes off completely giving a nice big filling area. It looks really good with my cream toaster. Not too heavy when full. Decent length of cord. 360 base. What’s not to like?!

Originally bought one as it matched a rebuilt kitchen. Two years down the line the previous one has packed up - but t put that into perspective, it's probably been used six or seven times a day most days. Fill guide is useful, and the capacity is good, from a cup to covering a load of potatoes in a saucepan. Okay, so we bought another to match the aesthetic of the kitchen, but we are happy enough with the price and performance and longevity to buy exactly the same again

Breville kettle
I bought this kettle before from Argos as I like the colour and shape. When opening the lid it is not too high so it fits nicely under my kitchen unit unlike other models. I believe the price is also reasonable. It was delivered on time and in excellent condition.

To descale Breville VKT223 kettle, we recommend using a proprietary kettle descaler (readily available in supermarkets or online) or a solution of white vinegar and water. Descaling should be carried out every 4–8 weeks, depending on the hardness of your local water supply (more often in hard water areas).
Hi JVS. I can confirm that the element is stainless steel and the body of the kettle (both exterior and interior) is plastic. I do hope this helps.

The power cords for Breville kettles are consistent in design and are only available in black. Unfortunately, the white kettles do not come with white power cords, without exception.
