Solid kettle, can't argue.
Not the fastest boiling in the world, but otherwise a very good kettle, cheap and effective and looks nice. Lid gets a lot of condensation so has a tendency to spill a bit when opening.

To descale Breville VKT223 kettle, we recommend using a proprietary kettle descaler (readily available in supermarkets or online) or a solution of white vinegar and water. Descaling should be carried out every 4–8 weeks, depending on the hardness of your local water supply (more often in hard water areas).

The power cords for Breville kettles are consistent in design and are only available in black. Unfortunately, the white kettles do not come with white power cords, without exception.
