Nice kettle , although I have had the exact model before and the switch to turn on broke. I bought the same model as I have matching toaster hopefully the switch will last longer than my last kettle.

Breville VKT223 kettle has a wide spout for easy pouring, but it does not include a specific anti-splash or anti-drip device to prevent boiling water from spitting. For safe use, we recommend pouring slowly and avoiding overfilling.

To descale Breville VKT223 kettle, we recommend using a proprietary kettle descaler (readily available in supermarkets or online) or a solution of white vinegar and water. Descaling should be carried out every 4ā8 weeks, depending on the hardness of your local water supply (more often in hard water areas).

The power cords for Breville kettles are consistent in design and are only available in black. Unfortunately, the white kettles do not come with white power cords, without exception.
