Great upgrade. Only 2 minor issues.
Upgraded from nuvi 2529 and it's bigger brighter and snappier, built in WiFi but I think I'll still connect to PC Garmin Express for updates. First niggle is the c type input on rear of device is much lower than nuvi 2529 and because my set up in car is fixed to a metal disc on dashboard not windscreen, it's a tight fit on supplied 12v cable to power input because the cable is tight up against dashboard but it will allow device to sit on its mount, just tightly! Secondly I miss being able to personalise favourite addresses and drag and drop directly to WHERE TO section, instead you need to now choose favourite list and scroll for them. No biggies hey ho. I got it at sale price and I'm new to Garmin drive smartphone app but it's super for traffic and speed cameras heads up whereas the old nuvi has just recently stopped receiving traffic info from supplied receiver T10 receiver cable but I've read this old FM Dab traffic system is being phased out and Garmin drive app is now used, it's much quicker and informative and allows phone book and messaging info on Garmin device, I suppose I have to embrace new technology and if it makes my journey safer and less stressful I'll keep using it. Lifetime updates was a massive reason for buying, I don't need Alexa built in on the more expensive version. Just buy this one. šš

Good Satnav
I've been used to TomTom, but decided to try Garmin instead. There's not a lot in it between the two brands, but TomTom is better at giving directions when you're in a very small area and where there are multiple possible turnings within a couple of hundred yards or so. Garmin is less clear in that respect, but it's still good and gets you there. Garmin is better for long distances and for displaying what signs you'll see on your journey. It's also easy to set up and update. Nice interface once you get used to it. Good alert system and connectivity, either wired to a PC or via WiFi.

This unit I found to be full of useful information. I particularly liked the auto warning when about to enter a change of speed limit area of road ahead. The display is clear and I believe easy to read. Overall it represents good value for money.
