The Fairfield Kingsize Bed Frame gives you a solid, raised sleeping platform where you can spread out comfortably. It's made from solid pine with thick proportions that stand up to nightly use and daily wear. The panelled design adds texture and a touch of rustic character to your bedroom without fuss. There's enough room for two adults to sleep comfortably, with wooden slats underneath that support your mattress evenly. The raised legs lift the frame off the floor, creating space underneath for storage boxes, spare bedding, or shoes.
The sturdy wooden frame keeps things stable and secure through years of use. Over 25cm of space beneath the frame means you can slide storage underneath and still reach it easily. The frame supports up to 220kg total weight across the mattress and sleepers. Wooden slats are included, so you just add your mattress and bedding. Self-assembly required with clear instructions provided, two people recommended for ease. Part of the Fairfield collection, it coordinates with other pieces if you're furnishing the whole room. I bought this bed for when i have visitors come and stay and i love it.it is so sturdy the slat are so thick and sturdy too the whole bed looks so much more expensive it was so easy to assemble that i did it single handed so happy with this purchase and so are the people who has slept in it also

Very solid bed that looks great
Good sturdy bed, but a couple of build quality let downs. The bed looks and feels great when built, but when we were assembling it there were a couple of points that could be improved. The centre support needed a bit of force to fit which did not feel right. The top plank on the bottom of the bed did not sit flush with the adjoining peice and flexed when you sat on it. And the last point is that the matress support planks were ot all the same length and the screw holes were not countersunk for the screw heads. None of these things were issues if you are an engineer with tools - we overcame all them with minor mods, but you should not have to do that. Overall we are happy with the bed for the price, in terms of lokks and sturdiness. But if you dont have the DIY type know how and tooling to make mods, it might be a bigger problem.

Good looking bed frame
A nice quality bed frame, very solid and reasonably easy to assemble with two people involved. Only issue were the fixings for the end of the bed the nuts and bolts were very fiddly to do as it was a tight space. Overall very pleased with this purchase it was worth spending more money on this product as it should last a long time

Good solid bed apart from the start
The bed is Amazing but unfortunately when we came to assemble it we should have had 4 Dowds to assemble it but there were only two in the bag so we had to go to are local DIY shop to buy some how many more beds were like that

Argos home Fairfield double wooden bed frame
We wanted to upgrade our bedframe for a more farmhouse / cottage style and this one matched the vibe. It was easy to build with 2 people and the only negative is that it does creak very slightly in areas, mainly the top section at the end of the bed.

I can advise that the frame dimensions of the Argos Home Fairfield Kingsize Wooden Bed Frame - Pine include the thickness of the side rails. The slat area will take a regular Kingsize mattress 150x200cm.
