About this product
The GFW Chiswick Ottoman Bed makes the most of tight bedroom spaces by storing linen, blankets, towels or clothes in a generous compartment underneath. It's built with a gas hydraulic system that lifts the mattress base smoothly, so you can reach your belongings without heavy lifting. The ottoman base provides over 500 litres of storage capacity, keeping everyday items out of sight but close at hand. The soft velvet fabric finish adds a comfortable feel, while the upholstered frame stands up to daily use. A headboard is included to complete the look.
The side lift mechanism can be assembled to open from the left or right, depending on your room layout and which side is easier to access. Plywood slats provide solid support for your mattress. The storage area is lined to protect stored items from dust and moisture. The bed arrives flat-packed and requires assembly by two people, with all fixings and clear instructions provided. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

Very happy with this bed. It looks more expensive than it was! My daughter and I built it - it did take 4 hours - it was fiddly rather than difficult and instructions were easy to follow. If I bought it again I would pay for delivery and construction but we did manage it

Bed slat missing, multiple black marks on the cream bedframe. Very disappointed with the quality of the item. However it was fairly easy to build and is comfortable.

Really happy very nice colour and material. The lift features work well and do not feel cheap however the headboard feels cheap and is not padded very much. However still a great and affordable choice.
