About this product
The Chiswick Ottoman Bed solves bedroom storage without extra floor space. It's an upholstered bed with a lift-up base revealing a lined storage compartment, ideal for spare bedding, seasonal clothes, or bulky items. The gas hydraulic system lifts the mattress base smoothly for easy access. With over 460 litres capacity, it fits several duvets, pillows or a full wardrobe change. The included headboard is covered in soft velvet fabric, adding comfort to the bedroom.
You can configure the lift mechanism to open from the left or right side during assembly, so it works with your bedroom layout and avoids blocking against walls or furniture. The upholstered frame and plywood slat base provide stable support for the mattress. It's a small double size that fits neatly into compact bedrooms or guest rooms. Self-assembly is required with two people recommended for easier handling. The bed arrives in two flat-pack packages with all fixings and clear instructions included. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee.

Very happy with this bed. It looks more expensive than it was! My daughter and I built it - it did take 4 hours - it was fiddly rather than difficult and instructions were easy to follow. If I bought it again I would pay for delivery and construction but we did manage it

Bed slat missing, multiple black marks on the cream bedframe. Very disappointed with the quality of the item. However it was fairly easy to build and is comfortable.

Really happy very nice colour and material. The lift features work well and do not feel cheap however the headboard feels cheap and is not padded very much. However still a great and affordable choice.
