About this product
The Habitat Bunk Bed's ideal for siblings sharing or those weekend sleepovers where everyone needs a comfy spot. It's a chunky, stylish grey design that's built to handle daily use and holds up well over time. Wide steps on the ladder make climbing up and down really comfortable, while a high guard rail gives you peace of mind that everyone's safe through the night. Built-in shelving sits right in the frame, so each sleeper's got somewhere to pop an alarm clock, books or bedtime bits without needing extra furniture. It takes two standard single mattresses, one for each bunk.
It comes with two Habitat Kids Rae Comfort mattresses, medium feel open coil with 323 springs for support. The foam-free comfort layer made from natural fibres is breathable and keeps things fresh and hygienic. Each mattress is 16cm deep, the maximum safe depth for the top bunk. The metal frame keeps everything solid and stable. Wall-mounting is required for safety. The ladder fixes on the right side. Maximum user weight per bunk is 100kg, suitable for ages six and over, including adults. Self-assembly required, two people recommended. Comes with a one-year guarantee.

Bought the habitat ultimate bunk beds with Mattress . I chose grey coloured ones and im extremely happy with them . My grandkids came to stay at our house and they loved the beds too . They were beginning to battle over who was sleeping on top bunk as they both wanted to but it got sorted eventually bit bribery used . Great beds and price very happy

My sons are so happy with their new bed, was a bit difficult to build and I honestly had a few screws left over. The shelves are amazing, easy to store toys. My only bad point the ladder needs handles or some type of grip. Even if the actual stairs weren't so narrow it would've been perfect.

Lovely bed but a nightmare
These beds look lovely once they are up but firstly they were delivered and the parts were snapped in half so had to wait for new parts. The screws and fittings kept snapping so good job we had spare screws. The lats then wouldn’t go on easily. Took a long time to put these beds up by people who are experienced in flat back furniture.

You can paint almost anything grey. This would be a good candidate for a thing to be painted grey. Much better than a cloud, iceberg, or a hairy surface. But do you really want to? When painting this grey you should probably sand it first to promote adhesion. Even then it may come off in places. I would recommend green, maybe an ombre? Grey has had its day.
