Not worth buying.
I bought this camera to upgrade and i was very disappointed.It feels cheap,no carrying strap and the the picture quality is terrible.My camera from 15 years ago is better.The overall quality of this item is terrible.I took 2 photos and a 30 second video and it used half of the battery life.Its really not worth buying,unless its a starter camera for a child.Ive returned the camera.

This camera seems to have a mind of its own. The instruction booklet has such small print, its difficult, near on impossible, to read. Takes multi-pictures of the same thing, then takes ages to delete the unwanted duplicates.

They use the old fashioned bigger memory cards. Like you, I had a small card and it did the same thing when I tried to oput it in, just falojng out again. So I ordered one RECOMMENDED to me on this Q and A page but it was also too small. I found an older one I had which is about 1 ince long and about 3 quarters of an inch wide and that fits. It ramins to be seen if I can down load them afterwards, but they are being saved. Hope this helps,

"The battery life may vary depending on the surrounding temperatures, ie in extreme heat or cold weather. However, the estimated battery life in photo/video mode should last between 80-100 mins when taking approximately 420 photos in flash mode."

I can advise the following on the AGFA DC5500 24MP 8x Zoom Compact Digital Camera:
In order to transfer photos or video from the camera to a laptop or computer you need to connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable (that can read data) and then turn on the camera. The camera will then be recognised as a removable storage device and you can go into that and copy the files you want.
