Is it supposed to do that?
I bought this TV mainly for the satellite decoder but was shocked to see that no matter what I did it always showed 0% signal. I tested my dish with a Manhattan box and that worked fine so my dish is properly aligned. I tried to scan channels on the TV again then just after clicking scan I noticed that the wire was not attached, I quickly plugged it in and low n' behold it started finding channels! So if you have the same problem, start the scan then plug the wire in. TCL helpline was absolutely useless, they don't have any engineers, not just all busy, literally none employed. All they could say was "return it for a refund". BTW, the sound quality is shockingly bad.

Good value
I purchased my TV two weeks ago. Very good value for money, but the sound is not the best. The sound is echoing when you listen to some films and programmes.

Average
I bought this to replace a Sony Bravia TV that had served me well for 20 years but sadly stopped powering on and the difference was immediately obvious. Compared with the Sony the sound on this TV was really weak and tinny, and the picture wasn't nearly as sharp. I connected it to a Freesat box and there was a glitch controlling the volume. But, I quite liked being able to connect to iplayer and NowTV without having to use a friestick, it's cheap and does the job so hopefully be durable.

Good PICTURE
I bought about 2weeks ago for my bedroom, good picture, but sound not so good, but for the price I paid a really good buy.

Good picture
Great picture on this TV, good blacks, good detail and vibrant colours. It's HD not HD ready, as most of the others are. The only let down is the sound. It's not a surprise in a small flat TV that the sound is a bit tinny.
