About this product
The Argos Home Devon Double End Slide Divan Bed gives you a comfortable place to sleep and storage sorted in one go. It's built around an open coil spring unit with 288 springs that provides a medium-firm feel across the whole mattress. Soft fillings cushion you while you sleep, and the pinstripe sleeping surface with grey border keeps things looking smart in the bedroom.
The divan base splits into two pieces for getting it upstairs or through tight doorways, then sits steady on chrome feet. Two sliding doors at the end give you storage space for bedding, spare pillows, or out-of-season clothes without taking up floor space. The base includes a no-turn mattress that should be rotated regularly to even out wear. Assembly is minimal, though two people are recommended to lift and position the pieces securely.
The divan base perfectly complements the mattress, with its smart design, durability and practicality. While also providing extra storage behind the 2 sliding doors.
Pair with our stylish range of matching headboards, to complete the perfect look - sold separately. Design of mattress fabrics may vary to images shown.

Awful uncomfortable mattress
The divan bed is lovely however the mattress was awful, I have since had to buy another. You can feel the springs and is very thin

Stylish
I bought this bed for my dad and he absolutely loves it. It is comfortable, has plenty of storage and looks stylish. It was really easy to assemble too.

Not as strong as expected
Was light and easy to assemble, unfortunately one of the feet was unsuitable for use but we needed the bed immediately so could not send back for a replacement. Very sub-standard made, flimsy connection for beds to secure together (plastic push on clips underneath in the middle at bottom). Feels sturdy despite problems and mattress is very good to compensated the beds poor make.
