Only had this 8 weeks and the headband has already snapped, such bad quality for such an expensive product

Poor design from Sony

initially, I loved this headset to the bits but after a while of using it, speakers started crackling and it would be getting worse and worse. At first i thought that it was happening in the game but when i was listening to the music, same thing started happening. So my only option was to return this headset. I just couldn't justify the price for such poor quality.

PULSE Elite Wireless PS5 Headset - White £129.00 purchased in store. Couple of pounds more than Amazon, but could collect the same day. Sound is excellent, extendable mic is a nice touch, more comfy than the old style non-elite 3d pulse headphones and a lot of technology included for the price. The dongle connection removes all lag between picture and sound, so great for watching streaming via the PS5 as well as gaming. Downsides: they have some annoying lights on both sides, with no obvious way to turn them off, so especially in a dark room the lights are in the corner of your eye sight, bit annoying and the sides stick out more than the last version, again, little off putting especially if watching films rather than playing games. I also don't think you will be able replace the ear padding when it wears out, you could with the older version. So not sure these will last as long as the old non-elite ones. Also the design looks terrible when you wear it, massive bulky thing, weird shape, so you won't be wearing this for fashion, but the sound vs price is good for at home. The old ones suffered from weak points in the design so many snapped or cracked where the rubber head strap connected to the plastic, the design looks similar, hope they last. Over all happy, but they could of been so much better for the price.

They’re cool

It’s a decent headset, it’s not as comfortable as the previous white PlayStation official one I had, but it’s “fine” for a few hours of gameplay. I do have a large head though so I’m not sure if it’s my own fault! The battery has been epic for the time I’ve had it, same as the sound. I do like the “suction” on the ear cups which gives a bit of noise cancellation, but I find myself lifting them off my ear now and then to reset the suction if that makes sense? They connected quick and easy as well. I’d say these are more lower to mid tier headphones, they do come with a case which is cool as well.

Pulse headphones.

It's comfortable and completely covers my ears therefore blocking out noise around me. The discount made it worth it and I think that the case is great too.
