About this product
Carbon monoxide's got no smell, no colour, nothing to warn you it's there. This alarm picks up the gas before it becomes dangerous and gives you time to get out and sort the problem. It'll sit on a shelf or table if you want it freestanding, or you can mount it on the wall or ceiling. Runs on two AA batteries that come in the box, and it'll tell you when the seven-year sensor reaches the end of its life so you know when to replace it.
The alarm works in any room where there's a potential carbon monoxide source, near boilers, gas fires or wood burners. Test button confirms the unit's functioning properly between annual checks. Freestanding or wall-mounted options mean you can position it wherever makes sense for your home. End-of-life warning prevents you running an expired sensor without realising. BSI certified to EN50291-12018 standard for carbon monoxide detection. Batteries included so you can get it working the moment it arrives.
- Test button operation.
- 7 year sensor life.
- Batteries required: 2 x AA (included) .
- Size H11.9, W7.2, D3.9cm.
- Weight 0.27kg.
- Manufacturer's 7 year guarantee.

Easy to set up.
Easy to set up, just add the batteries and it's good to go. Difficult to say whether it works well as so far it hasn't detected any carbon monoxide .Overall , its a good reasonably priced product.

Good Price and East to Use
This is the third Kidde carbon monoxide alarm I’ve purchased. I’ve never actually had one go off but they are so easy to test that I have every confidence in them. I was a little sceptical with my first alarm so I tried it in my garage with the car running. It soon responded!! There is a warning when the batteries, 2xAA, need changing and it’s very easy to do. The alarm can be screwed to the wall but I prefer to have mine free standing, easy to fit with no wiring. There is a seven year warranty and a minimum of ten years continuous operation. There is also a comprehensive user guide.
