About this product
All homes should have at least one CO alarm, to warn you of the presence of the 'silent killer' carbon monoxide. It has an end-of-life warning signal which alerts you when it's time to replace the unit. Available as a single or twin pack unit. Sorry I cant remember if it came with batteries or not but it only takes three AA batteries so they don't cost that much and if it does come with the batteries at least you will have spare batties.

Yes you will be alerted when the batteries are low by a red flash of the LED light every 60 seconds and a chirp sound every 60 seconds

I can confirm that the alarm chrips and then flashes red to alert you when to replace the batteries.

According to instruction with unit - if batteries are low it chirps every sixty seconds and the red light flashes. It also advises testing it every week by pushing button.

If you have fossil fuel that is burning then you need a carbon monoxide alarm. I hope this helps.
