The Dakota ottoman storage bed adds a touch of grandeur to the bedroom. The high headboard with large scrolls gives an impression of status and the soft, sumptuous fabric makes the bed incredibly stylish. The hidden storage allows plenty of room between the mattress and base for bedding/ towels etc.

I bought this bed a few weeks ago. The service from Argos was fantastic. The bed is amazing quality and looks fantastic. It is a very heavy bed and takes time to put together.

Delivery was good, build quality are good too, looks ok. assembly instructions were clear. Frame was not flat so i had to intentionally misalign two sides to support the frame from on all four corner, else frame was floating and hitting the bracket whenever weight was shifted on it. Also had to tie the frame to cross bar

Nice bed
Very nice bed, took 4 hours to build it myself even though they recommend 2 people, makes life easier using drill with hex bit and 2 rooms for opening box and building bed, firstly sort screws with washers, secondly build headboard then make sure when fitting the gas lift on to the wood pieces to leave them slightly loose for adjustment when lifting the bed, once the alignment is correct then tighten them.

Pleasantly surprised
I wasn't sure whether to go ahead with this purchase or not but we were long overdue a new bedframe and having read the reviews, decided to go for it. My husband more or less assembled this himself with little trouble but definitely some fiddly bits. The colour is lovely. It also feels big without taking up unnecessary floor space with the headboard. The under bed storage is really useful although the mechanism does sadly cause the bed to make some creaky noises.

I can confirm you would need a double mattress (W135, L190) for this bed. If you choose the king size bed you would need a king size mattress (W150, L200).
