Very Worthwhile
After watching explanatory Youtube videos on TCL 501, I decided it sensible to buy one, without being concerned about its relatively low status in the world of smartphones. So far so good; but be prepared to purchase a USB charging plug (~£3) which might not come with the phone; also, there isn't an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip in this phone, meaning one cannot use for contactless payments in shops, or on buses, although most debit cards I suppose suffice for this function. Overall a very worthwhile acquisition, and fantastic value for money.

I needed to get a phone quickly that does the basics and I am surprised of this phone at such an incredible price. It is much more valuable through its simplicity, easy flow and as long as you do not cram tabs open it works very well. It has a lasting battery that does not make me concern over the day. It is totally worth the price.
