Not a five-star review. When charging the phone gets hot very slow charging and will be returning as a bad purchase. I do not recommend you purchase this phone

Great bang for buck
Great phone for 50 pounds. It works fine for WhatsApp, calls, chat gpt and most of the things I need it for. The processor isn't quite powerful enough to scroll social media seamlessly but that's my only critique! Which is actually a good thing as I'm cutting down on my screen time. My last phone cost over a thousand quid and the only real difference is a better camera and more doom scrolling.

Very good value for my requirements.
Until now I hadn't felt the need for a smartphone, until a friend showed me how it could show my location on an OS map while out walking, for only a small annual subscription to OS. I was worried that it might involve a heavy data charge to my true PAYG contract with RWG, but maps can be downloaded for free via wifi at home before setting out. The advert for the phone was not clear whether a charger is included. It isn't, so I bought what I thought was best value, but I had to return it as the phone only charges slowly from non-recommended chargers. I then bought the recommended type from an Argos branch that had it in stock.
