Pros quiet , I know most machines are now only 1400 spin speed bUt the clothes seem a little too wet so have to put on the spin cycle again. Also I would've liked the display to display all the time and not a brief 5 seconds when switched on. The machine itself is robust it's the first Bosch I've had always a rival brand before. It's quiet doesn't try to walk around lol like previous rival models only had this machine a couple of weeks so going on past reviews I've read witch were positive. My last machine lasted 10 years.

Replaced my old Bosch WM, that was 21 years old, so hoping this one will last just as long. Great service from Argos wirh installation and recycling, the guys were great and only took 20 minutes. Great WM, really quiet even when spinning at 1400rmp, nice looking as well, so a very happy lady.

This model has replaced my Bosch Classixx4 machine which gave me fantastic service for the better part of 20 years. I only replaced rather than repaired because the parts required for repair were no longer available. So far I'm impressed by the new machine. The choice of programmes is good, and the flexibility of heat settings within those programmes is also good. Spin is so strong that clothes comeout out of the drum much drier than compared to my previous machine. As with my previous Bosch I tend to stick to one or two programmes for my washing. I'm put off by the length of time some cycles take and find it hard to believe they are saving on water and electricity costs. Thus so far I have avoided using those settings. Build quality seems good, with a heavy door and solid metal door catch and hinges (cheaper items on the market use plastic). Time will tell how impressed I am with the digital display, as with more electronics there's more to go wrong. However, overall if this machine performs as reliably and well as my previous Bosch then I will be a very happy customer.

I chose this model as a replacement for my 15 yr old Exxcel 7. The new one is very similar, not many new features. Unlike the Exxcel it lacks the eco choice for some of the programmes I regularly use, a lot of the programmes are exceptionally long and the digital controls are not as responsive as I would like, with the readout being confusing. The instruction manual is not as simple to understand either. To sum up, I should like my old Exxcel7 back as it was easier to work and just as efficient. 15 years on and no real improvements

The Bosch WAN28258GB 8KG 1400 Spin Washing Machine - White can be used manually without connecting to WiFi. The spin on a 30 minute wash is 1200 rpm.
